Brrrr….it’s still chilly here, but we’ve had a burst of warmer weather here and there, allowing people to shed their layers. New York City is such a great people watching place (while sipping a glass of wine at a sidewalk cafe in the East Village, strolling down Madison Avenue, or gallery hopping in Soho), one is bound to see many interestingly attired or stylishly dressed people. With the new, fresh look of JCPENNEY stores in the states (from logo, to the showcasing of international designer brand clothing from Duno Olowu and Canadian brand Joe Fresh, it only makes sense that there would be a world renowned home furnishings line too! Sir Terence Conran debuts his modern English furnishings collection for JCPenney; Design By Conran. It features furniture, lighting and home accessories. This is a great treat for those of us who remember the Manhattan shop’s Conran, which closed a few years back. Take a look at some of the chic, modern, affordable pieces here.
