Thursday, December 22nd, 14th Street & Union Square Market

This month I’d like to take a look at the easy, versatile, go-to item in your closet.

‘The Dress’

Dress it up, or dress it down, it’s the easiest item to reach for, especially on these cold winter mornings where one may prefer just to stay cuddled up under ones blanket.

Transform the look of a dress by adding a cardigan, or slipping on a shoulder warming shrug. Try layering a cozy turtleneck underneath, or a crisp white shirt, changing the look of a sexy bustier sheath into a more sartorial look. Fill the neckline with a signature necklace, chains galore, or classic scarf. Define your waist with a fabulous belt, or update the look with a detachable collar.

Check out the following outfits and see how I’ve taken one dress and given it new life; pulling together two very wearable looks.
